Beginning in 2006, Dorothy became a regular visitor at
several retirement communities and senior facilities in the
Baton Rouge, Louisiana, area. She now brings her
"Memories 'n Song" program to church groups, birthday
and retirement parties, and other places where seniors
congregate! This unique program is now multi-faceted in
scope:
DYNAMIC SINGALONGS, as
Dorothy leads your group in
tunes such as The Crawdad
Song, Jambalaya, Ain't She
Sweet, Don't Fence Me In,
Blueberry Hill, and many more!
MELLOW JAZZ PERFORMANCES,
as Dorothy plays jazz guitar and
sings Blue Moon, Don't Get Around
Much Anymore, St. Louis Blues,
It's Only a Paper Moon, Route 66,
You Send Me, Sentimental Journey,
Basin Street Blues and many other
favorites of the early to mid-1900s!
