Singing with Seniors...
"Memories 'n Song"
Beginning in 2006, Dorothy became a regular visitor at
several retirement communities and senior facilities in the
Baton Rouge, Louisiana, area. Her musical selections
during each interactive, lively performance totally depend
upon the wishes of her audience. You can request
sentimental favorites, popular hits of the 20's, 30's and
40's, country classics, timeless patriotic and folk songs, as
well as gospel and spiritual tunes that are still sung today!
Dorothy accompanies herself primarily on guitar.
Audience members are encouraged to sing along, tap
their toes, clap their hands, "shake a leg" on the dance
floor...It's great fun!
Beginning in 2009, Dorothy began performing these great
tunes in coffee shops around the Baton Rouge area.
